First Impressions: Capturing India with the Hasselblad 907X CFV 100c
There’s something about first times — they leave a mark, quietly but permanently.
This year marked two firsts for me:
my first trip to India, and my first journey with the Hasselblad 907X CFV 100c in my hands.
I had always imagined India to be overwhelming — a riot of color, chaos, life bursting at every corner.
But no amount of imagination prepared me for how deeply it would stir something inside me.
And no ordinary camera would have done justice to that feeling.
The 907X CFV 100c wasn’t just a tool on this trip; it became an extension of how I saw, how I felt.
The 907X: A Camera That Teaches Patience
Hasselblad is known for slowing you down — in the best way.
The 907X CFV 100c, with its medium format sensor and pure, simple design, demands something rare: intentionality.
No rush, no shortcuts.
Every frame requires you to breathe, observe, and wait for the right moment.
In a place like India, where every second throws a new scene at you, this was both a challenge and a gift.
It forced me to choose — to commit to one story in a sea of infinite possibilities.
The result? Photographs that felt more alive and more honest than ever before.
A Beginning, Not an End
This trip taught me that India can’t be captured in one visit —
and the Hasselblad 907X CFV 100c can’t be mastered in one trip.
Both require time, patience, respect.
But somehow, standing there with this beautiful machine in my hands,
watching the morning mist lift over the Ganges,
I felt like I was exactly where I needed to be:
At the beginning of a much bigger journey.
