Photography Is How I Connect with the World
“I don’t have a favorite — I just want to try them all.”
That’s probably the best way to describe my journey as a photographer.
Some days, I find myself drawn to the silence of landscapes, standing alone in the cold waiting for light. Other days, it’s the chaos of a wet market that pulls me in — the colors, the characters, the human stories.
I shoot with whatever is in my hands — a high-end Hasselblad, a compact Fujifilm, or a vintage film camera I stumbled upon out of curiosity. I’m not loyal to gear. I’m loyal to the experience. Each camera teaches me something new.
Photography, to me, isn’t just a profession or a craft — it’s the most instinctive way I connect with the world. It helps me observe more deeply, feel more honestly, and preserve the emotions and stories that move me.
It’s not about chasing perfection. It’s about chasing that feeling — the quiet satisfaction of capturing a fleeting moment that tells more than words ever could.
I’m not done exploring. Not even close.
